MEET THE ARTIST
perception—often bending reality through systems that feel alive. Using the language of games and digital structures, he explores how meaning emerges through interaction and how viewers, players, and listeners become co-authors of experience.
Each project examines control, failure, and agency within designed worlds, inviting participants to question the separation of art and systems.
Across his career, Nate has released over twenty albums of music, collaborated with artists worldwide on over thirty others, and shipped more video games than can be counted on two hands. His ongoing “Lunch Drawing” series—begun in 2012 as a surprise for his son’s daycare lunches—has since grown into thousands of individual works spanning over a decade of daily practice.
