MEET THE ARTIST

Maggie Ziegler is a mixed media artist and graphic designer based in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Her work is inspired by the natural beauty and relaxed pace of life on the West Coast. Working at the intersection of traditional media and the digital world, she combines painting, collage, and digital layering to blend representational elements with richly textured abstract backgrounds—creating visual narratives full of movement, depth, and emotional resonance.

Maggie’s creative practice is rooted in curiosity, optimism, and a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. She believes in the power of art to connect people and transform how we see the world and ourselves. Guided by her personal mantra “Create Everyday,” she approaches art-making as both a discipline and a joyful habit—an ongoing invitation to explore, reflect, and grow.

An Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Maggie works from her shared studio at ARTWRX Studio Gallery in Courtenay, BC, where she participates in group shows and community exhibitions.
