MEET THE ARTIST

Linda Davidson, a Vancouver-born retiree who now resides in Campbell River, B.C., has always had a lifelong love of art. From a very young age, she had a love of drawing and took as many art classes as possible. After finishing two years of Art Education at U.B.C., she moved to Ontario, where new responsibilities changed her direction and focus.

Now, recently retired, Linda has embraced her creative side again, drawing inspiration for her artwork from her own photos and experiences of the natural world around her.

Linda has started to explore abstract realism using different mediums with a focus on acrylic. She enjoys experimenting with styles, colours, patterns, lines and textures to express the ever-changing flow, colour and movement found in nature.
