MEET THE ARTIST

Creatively curious by nature, Katherine is a ceramic and fine artist living and creating on Vancouver Island. She lives a semi-rural lifestyle in a black house with her family, dog, and many feathered friends. Her contemporary acrylic painting style is a juxtaposition of colour, graphic lines and patterns that carry over from her profession as a graphic designer. Clean lines are often softened with amorphous shapes and layers which break away from symmetry with the occasional surprise thrown in to encourage a smile — possibly in the form of a chicken.
