MEET THE ARTIST

Considered by at least one person to be an unheralded renaissance man, Jason’s life on Vancouver Island provides him with an endless supply of challenge and inspiration.

Jason uses acrylic paint combined with thickening medium and applies it with a palette knife to create texture and depth, while his use of colour, contrast and bold colour combinations bait the eyes of the beholder.

A injury in recent years has limited Jason’s physical capabilities, and painting has given him a way to rest his body during his recovery, while exploring nature through his imagination.
